CLASSIC ASIAN STAPLE MADE TASTY AND SIMPLE!

Sweet & sour is simply a mix of sugar, vinegar and spicy. Nothing more complicated here so skip the restaurant, here's how you can make it your own.

SWEET & SOUR

INGREDIENTS:

500g pork or chicken

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 onions

2 bell peppers

2 carrots

1 zucchini

1 can (140g) pineapple

1 can (140g) bamboo

Ginger

Sriracha, ketchup, soy sauce

Rice or noodles

(Optional) sesame seeds, green onions or fresh coriander for garnish.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Slice the meat into strips, coat in starch and baking soda, then fry preferably in a wok with oil in high heat till brown. Cut veggies into strips, fry them with the meat.

2. Add in pineapple juice, sriracha, ketchup and soy sauce, taste till you like it. You can always add more spices, point is to make it tasty.

3. Make cornstarch slurry if the sauce is not thick enough. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions or coriander. Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy.
