WHAT IS CHEBUREKI?

Essentially it could be described as a huge fried pelmeni. Simple juicy meat pie.

CHEBUREKI -ЧЕБУРЕКИ (MEAT PIE)

INGREDIENTS:

For dough:

1 egg

7 dl flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 dl water

 

For filling:

500g ground beef/pork

green onion, parsley, dill, black pepper

1 large onion

garlic

3 teaspoons salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Get two bowls. Mix up a dough in a bowl and put aside, then cut the onions add and mix up the meat, salt, pepper, everything into a separate bowl.

2. Roll the dough flat and then form medium sized circles. Place the filling in the centers of the circles and leave the outer inch unfilled. Then, fold in half, creating a half-moon shape. Seal the edges by pressing with a fork firmly.

3. Get a frying pan, fill it with sun flower oil and fry each side of the pie until golden-brown. Enjoy.
